The tool provides a comprehensive overview of investment regulations, including National Investment Laws, International Investment Agreements, and regional investment codes, in line with the AfCFTA Investment Protocol. The analysis includes a detailed examination of investment policy documents in the continent, outlining the main pillars and their interaction with other national investment regulations.
Afreximbank Professor Benedict Oramah highlighted the importance of coordinated infrastructure and manufacturing efforts in unlocking the full potential of AfCFTA for Africa's prosperity, collaboration, and sustainable development.
He praised the AfCFTA Secretariat for creating a tool that effectively address bottlenecks and challenges in Africa's investments.
