Unlocking Kwara’s Investment Opportunities
Speaking on investment opportunities in the state at the 3rd African sub-Sovereign Governments Network (AfSNET) Conference, 2023, with the theme ‘Accelerating AfCFTA Implementation, H. E. Governor Abdul Razaq Rahman has invited other African states and the international community to invest in agriculture and mining sectors in Kwara State, Nigeria.
At the 3rd African sub-Sovereign Governments Network (AfSNET) Conference in 2023, with the theme “Accelerating AfCFTA Implementation,” Governor Abdul Razaq Rahman spoke about investment opportunities in the state and invited other African states and the international community to invest in Kwara State, Nigeria, specifically in the mining and agriculture sectors.
With strong guarantee of working infrastructure in the special agriculture/food processing zones and other industrial parks available, the governor believes Intra-African Trade goods can do better with processed commodities.
“In the mining sector, Kwara also boasts of sufficient gold, marble, limestone and other precious metals”, the governor said. The ceremony ended with partnership deals signed between Kwara and NEXIM.
